Default Warwickshire Yomanry.

All I have of the Warwickshire Yeomanry, to be honest I don't think its possible to tell good from fake anymore, once the too yellow gilding metal was a give away, but the fakers are using gilding metal now. Unusual makers mark

Post Is this a Warwickshire Yeomanry badge ?

I thought for years this was a Warwickshire Yeomanry badge, but have now been led to believe it might be a New Zealand item. Any ideas?

new zealand rifle brigade (the earl of liverpool's own) , i confirme.
COX page 314 315 n° 2950 in brass and blackned brass .In 1916 the four battalions of this famous regiment became the 3rd (rifle) brigade of the newly formed new zealand divion. the new zealand rifle brigade ceased to exist as a regiment in 1919 when its four battalions were absorbed by the 1st and 2sd brigade groups.

if you want i sell the title NZRB with JR GAUNT marker there is one in the lot i found this week ...i think is genuine

John,
The badge is New Zealand Rifle Brigade. Same size for hat and collars although collars worn facing each other.
Regards
Chris
