Default Hello.

Hello, I am new to this forum and to badge collecting. I am a retired electrical engineer living in Cumbria. My other interests are watching rugby league, car restoration and spending time in France. I plan to collect badges associated with the Border Regiment. I have enjoyed reading some of the threads on here and will read more before I ask any questions. Ian

Hello Ian

Welcome to the forum. I agree there is a wealth of information to be found in past threads using the search button.

I don't have a collecting focus on the Border Regiment as some others might, but I do like the cap badge and try to acquire affordable ones if I see them.

I was just going through my badges today and made scans of a few regiments for my records. As these things happen I'd made a scan of the Border Reg, so when I saw your introduction I thought you might be interested in seeing them.

Anyway, good luck and beware of the myriad fake Border badges.

Mark
