Default Is this Indian Army?

This has been an unknown item for many years as the regimental marking has never been identified. The khaki slide suggests Middle East or Indian/SEAC use

It has been suggested that it may be that of an Indian cavalry regiment.

I have also posted it in the British Army section to increase the chances of an answer.

Thoughts appreciated.

Jon

Found an old thread showing NAAFI patches.

https://www.britishbadgeforum.com/fo...ead.php?t=8340

"NAAFI staff also served onboard Royal Navy ships, they wore No 8 naval action working dress with epaulette slides with the NAAFI badge on it."

I may be wrong, but I do not believe it is an Indian Army regimental flash. The colours would appear to indicate a tri-service organisation.

Sorry, I was unable to open the link posted by postwarden but it would appear the mystery has been solved on the other thread.
