Default incredible WW1 films re mastered

I saw with amazement on yesterdays news the original WW1 films that had been coloured, slowed down and given sound tracks, the results were unbelievable.

I cannot wait to see all the films that have been treated in this way. Amazing what can be achieved in this digital age.

From what I have gathered from news reports etc, a copy of the film is to be given to all secondary schools in the country. What a wonderful way to engage the interest of younger people. Looking at the original footage and the final edit, the difference is utterly stunning. It is a wonderful piece of work.
