Default Help with dating and identifying regiment

Grateful for any assistance in dating this photograph and identifying the regiment.

Id say hes a Fusilier of some sort but couldn't say which one.

He looks like Northumberland fusiliers to me. Large badge on the Glengarry ?

Agreed, Northumberland Fusilier probably taken 1895-1900.

Yes, the RSF continued wearing the glengarry badge on their glengarrys after the non-Scottish units ceased to wear glengarrys in 1898, the grenades worn by the different regiments were of the same design but with differing designs on the ball.

Possibly these NF insignia being worn, the Glengarry grenade was also produced with a circular strap with laurel spray at the bottom.
