Default Prince Of Wales Rangers title

Hi, I was curious to know when this title was worn? The regiment seems to have had many diverse roles from M.G. to Artillery and everything between. The backing gauze was only lightly glued on and has become disconnected, thanks in advance Mike

All covered in Fabric of War. (shameless plug).
The PWR title was worn from 1942 through 1946, when the PWR were converted to artillery.
