Default Royal New Zealand Corps of Signals Brassards

RNZ Sigs, NZCS and WW1 Sigs and have worn the white over blue brassard to signify the wearer is Signals just like the rest of Dominions. Attached is a photo of the brassards worn by RNZ Sigs in the 1950s and perhaps earlier. They are white over blue with red lettering.

Phil,
The brassards are stored away in the RNZSigs main camp in Linton near Palmerston North. I had them photographed about 20 years or more ago. Never ever seen any reference to them.

20 years s a long time, given the Army's poor record in preserving Corps and Units history hopefully they are still been looked after and not dumped in one of the many cleanups the army periodically goes thru.
