Welsh Territorial Titles (finally ready for framing)
The lockdown has allowed me some time to frame my Welsh Territorial Shoulder title collection. Luckily I had the material with me before the lock-down so I've spent a few hours mounting them. Some still loose bit nearly finished! I've spent a number of decades finishing this collection and I was very relieved to be able to do so last year, thanks to a very kind member of this forum (you know who you are!)

Superb collection, Jon, thank you for posting. Looking at what you’ve done it saddens me when I see so many collections of the past being broken up and sold at auction, not least because they seem to often end up overseas.

Superb collection and splendid display Jon - a number I haven’t seen before. Thanks for sharing.
Do you not think that some of my British badges sitting proudly in a collection in Australia should have been stopped at the border hey Toby. Better they end up in a collection than lost I might have thought. I might even move back one day. These days thoughts of travel to see family, friends and attend a decent badge fair sound fanciful mores the pity. Stay safe, I do know what you meant and only teasing, cheers Dean.

Thanks all,
It all started in 1980 when an old gent (long since dead) in the curio stall in my local market in South Wales gave me T/RHA/GLAMORGAN. It's been a long voyage since and I've found titles in the oddest of places! Jon |

Excellent display, thanks for sharing. Excuse my ignorance but why do CHESHIRE, RW KENT & ROYAL SUSSEX make the cut?
Cheers, Alex |

Jon.
Nice collection a few in there that wouldn't mind, wait for your others to be framed as can then see what I'm missing. Ta Jonathan |

Welsh TF
Lovely collection and beautifully mounted.
One question, why is there a Monmouthshire Regt cap badge above the T/Y/MONTGOMERY title? Did they wear this cap badge at one point in the unit's history? Rob |

Hi Alex - a number of the Welsh units of the Div (including S Wales Brigade units) were swapped out immediately prior to and just after commencement of histilities to be be deployed elsewhere. All three Monmouthshire Battalions became pioneers for example and served in other Divs.

Hi Rob - its a filler as I don't have a good WW1 example that I'm satisfied with at the moment. It shouldn't be too hard, but if you see one I'd be delighted to hear!
