Default 20th Hussars Silver Plated.

Arrived this morning, thoughts on this please?
It appears to be plated rather than made of white metal.

It is a repro with the fat spacer to the left (viewers) and skinny one to the right.

It’s from the Marsh catalogue but not the clearest pic. The dipped down central jewel is very evident in the catalogue as is the skinnier right spacer bar.

Ta, alarm bells rang re. a plated badge and I'm always suspicious of badges with digits and letters stamped on sliders, but I thought I'd risk it as the toning appeared "genuine" (the seller offers 30 day returns and highlights this to individual purchasers prior to despatch of items).
I did wonder about "Marsh".

That fake crimp mark is also very obvious. I too regard marked sliders such as that with a very dim view. I have seen more such shinanigans lately.

I'm wary of crimps nowadays but decided this one looked OK.
It's being returned, as I mentioned earlier the seller does emphasise that his badges are "returnable" and is aware this one is a boomerang.
