Default Is it Royal Marines? If so, what and when?

I have had this WM badge for a few years and thought of it as some sort of bugler arm badge rather than Royal Marines. However the recent thread on missing globes for bugle/wreath Marine badges showed something similar.
Thanks.

I would have said that it's more to do with Light Infantry. Exactly what or which country I'm not sure.

The wreath looks the same as the one that has the globe in it

There was a Victorian/Edwardian series of sweetheart badges that displayed small badges in these wreaths, and this is one of those types.

The photo makes it look as if the bugle horn is added on top of the wreath, so Simon's answer makes a lot of sense: one of a series with a common backing.

I think the badge on the right may be a RM badge sweetheart conversion, the left badge is as said earlier a sweetheart though
