Default RCAF Hat Badge ?? Fake ??
If anyone has information on this badge, I would appreciate a reply. This is the same size as the QC other ranks post 53 hat badge, it has a flat back a with 2 screw posts. It is very well made, and is brass. Thanks, Don

Hi Don, I have no idea on it, but just wanted to say, Welcome to the forum. Perhaps you might be able to help with some of the pictures that are being compiled for the Canadian Badge post 1953 project that members are currently working on.......

Default KC RCAF Hat Badge
Interesting looking badge. By the picture, it is not voided around the eagle. Except for the KC it is almost the same as the RCAF QC. I have several references that say that the QC can have lugs or post's but I cannot find a KC badge in this style. Any makers mark??

Default RCAF Hat Badge ??
Hi

I am attaching a scan of the reverse of the badge. There are no maker's marks. I have been trying to find any reference of this badge for over a year and nothing gained.

Jamie regarding the Post 53 hat badges, hopefully I will be able to start that in the next little while.

Hi Don, I am very uncomfortable with that badge. It is a cast badge, with no provenance.
