Oman Military Units
I'm off a detachment to Oman in Mid October for a 4 month tour and am hoping to gather some Omani Badges and patches whilst I am there. Can anyone let me know the names of any Omani regiments so I have some idea of what to look out for.
Any pics or scans would be grateful, email address can be supplied. Many thanks in advance. Bill

Oman Military Units
BILL, Hope you enjoy your tour to Oman. I was out there in 1974 just out side RAF SALALAH(don't think it is there any more) with 48 Field Squadron Royal Engineers. Bet the place has changed now?
Anyway if you go to the ARAB NATIONS section you should find quite a few Omani badges there to get you going. Best wishes Jerry.

Gents,
many thanks for your input, at least I know roughly what I'm looking for now. I'm going to be at Seeb near Muscat so hopefully will get a few nice items. Thanks again Bill
