Default 21st SAS (Artists) title 1947-54

Picked up and it looks good to me, I can only find one other example online to compare it with and that only shows the front. the original was posted here by Johan in a thread on Artists insignia.

It has the same thicker left upright on the A in SAS and the same thickening of the central sections of the two S's in Artists.

Thanks Mike B.

It seems a perfect match to mine, even has the same mesh backing.

Hi Jerry
Quite right - you can tell a lot from the reverse of titles, the similarities struck me too.
Note also the front, and how the opening bracket abuts the dot after the S.
All the best
Mike

Mike,
I was happy with it from the pics before I bought it, but finding others to compare it against just for the final confirmation was what I hoped I would get and you and mike Jackson came through for me. Especially good to see yours up close and the reverse in particular as I had not seen the reverse of this pattern previously.

Hi Jerry,

A very good find! These early 21 titles are quite rare!

No doubts whatsoever about it. The mesh on the back matches with the title I posted a picture of.

Cheers,

Johan
