Default W.W. 2 bakelite badges

Hi everyone a quick question did Bakelite (Plastic) economy-issue come in more than one colour for the same regiment?
I have a Hampshire badge and is in Silver & Gold, I also have similar for the Welch Fusiliers one in Silver & Gold also?
Was this common or is this peculiar for these particular badges? cheers billy
(could there be more like this??

Some regts come in bronze or silver effect. Occasionally brown and another.

Some badges were only ever made in one colour while others come in various shades

Billy,
the shades do vary quite a bit, and they were not made from Bakelite which is a completely different medium!

The main colours (or shades of) where;

Silver-grey
Light-bronze
Chocolate-brown
Black
