Every now and then when at work I see the odd strange badge.

I'm not sure if this is along the same lines but a variety of patches, not official of course, were made for pilots and workers on specific planes. There is a rare voodoo plane set for the R.C.A.F. which my friend has, you might have a non official patch which was worn by a operator or given out to a specific crew. Hope that helps a bit

No, no. I'm sure they must be wearing it for real. It is in a picture, I've just seen it! I must have one as they are obviously very scarce and top secret.
