Hi Chris,
I think there is a picture in Keith Blakeman's album of Volunteer Battalions. I also have one if you want another picture. Cheers, Tinto |

I'm not aware of a 9th London. The only ones I have are for the 5th (London Rifle Brigade) and recently I got a 14th (Scottish Cadets). I have seen others for the 10th (Hackney) and 19th (St.Pancras) in Bosleys auction catalogues.

Hi Guys,
This might be an elusive badge - it was authorised for issue in anodised aluminium but I have no idea what it looks like. If anyone has a piccy of one in any material then that would help me give an idea of what I'm looking for. Regards Chris |

The 9th London (or Queens Victoria's Rifles) certainly existed into the A/A period as KK illustrate a QC badge which they state was also issued in plastic.

Hi Chris,
Sorry, I can't help you. The badge I have, and in Keith's album is described as 9th VB, 1st London Rifle Brigade Cadet Corps. Cheers, Tinto |

9th cadet battalion
Can I ask ... what dates are you considering? If it is about the 1920s the 9th Cadet Battalion in the County of London was a battalion of the London Division, Church Lads Brigade. You can see their cap badges at conijoni album on this site.
