Default K+K - slightly overpriced?

Hi all

I know this book is considered a bible by many, but even so
this seems a rather excessive price:

At €2556.36 I think I'll pass

It's only overpriced if people won't pay it. He can have mine for half that or both volumes for £2000

Does anyone know if the images in the 2003 Naval and Military press reprint up to scratch?

I ask as I have their edition of Churchill's history of the British army infantry collar badge and they are very dark and not very clear in that.
