Unknown rose
I got this in among some other badges and I don't know what it is for. Any help appreciated. It is 25mm across.

It looks very much the same pattern as an East Lancs collar badge but the screw and size says pouch badge? Ivan |

Wouldn't it have a loop or hook for the chin strap? (unless that mark at 4 o'clock on the reverse is where its been broken off)? Ivan |

Yes, but the one below is a white metal volunteers one and I imagine the clips for the chin chain could fairly easily break off. Peter

Well spotted guys, missing something from the one side, probably a loop for the HS helmet as was suggested.

Got another one with the same fault, but also one of the versions with lugs so a collar badge for the East Lancs.
