RTR Peak caps?
I recently posted this photo of 2AB Farewell Parade El Quassassin Egypt Sep.1947..,,,some one has pointed out that the 4th & 6th RER pictured have men in front wearing peak caps...As a Bay I had not noticed this...Hss any old RTR men experienced this?

REME LAD ??
Possibly the REME LAD? OC and ASM in front wearing SD caps.

I thought that but why go to the shorts and white gaiters, and why have REME in positions like that at such an important parade?
We, Bays and 9th Lancers did not shorts or gaiters. Note, 9th Lancers still wore side caps. Last edited by sketchley kid; 07-09-21 at 03:23 PM.
