Default AG HALF WING.

Hello,
Although picked up in Canada some time ago, I assume this half wing is not a RCAF brevet. RNZAF may be ? - It appears to be ink stamped on the reverse...
Needless to say your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,

It's not RCAF as it would say RCAF at the bottom. However, it may have been made in Canada for the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan. I may be wrong, but I think some of the brevets with the curved wing were made for that programme. But I stand to be corrected, as I'm sure someone will step in and tell me!

It's not a machine made item but hand made, such badges usually found made in Africa or India by tailors etc.

Although it has no RCAF or RNZAF on it may well have been worn by a member of those two forces or the RAF. I have several similar examples.

As for the backing this might have come from anywhere with the stamp already on the cloth (especially as it's right on the end rather than clear and more central) or stamped by the maker.
