Default 100th (1st Royal Saxon) Life Grenadiers

I have always wondered why my Saxon wappen was the reverse of the usual Saxon wappen in having a gilt crest and a silver star.

A bit of googling has revealed that only the 100th (1st Royal Saxon) Life Grenadiers wore this configuration.

Probably a souvenir brought home by a British soldier as it came from a house clearance in South London.
