Default ATS Lanyard Question

I am looking at an ATS lanyard that I want to get. However, I am used to seeing them with a metal clip at the end. The one I am considering does not have the metal clip, just a loop.

My question is did all lanyards have the metal clip and this one is missing it, or did they make both types - with and without the metal clip?

Thanks,

Terry

I have this one which has seen wear and does not have a clip. i would suggest that they come with and without clips with no particular significance.

Thanks Jerry, Unfortunately, SoF is a re-enactor shop, so new made.

Tim, yours looks new made as well, but maybe just wasn't issued?

I have found one without the clip so will hold off until I can get something more finite.

Thank you again gentlemen!

My ATS lanyard is frayed in at least four places and is a minimum of 71 years old!

See my album showing another 200+ lanyards.

Tim, That is an amazing collection of lanyards!!! I also see that some have metal clips and as many don't, including your ATS one. So looks like the one I found is going to be a go!

Thank you very much!!!
