Default Red & White Vertically Striped Shield with Yellow Border & "GERMANY" at Top.

I may have posted this badge before, without an identification being made.

This link was posted in another thread querying one of the badges shown, the elephant of 6970th Civilian Support Center (Engineer Construction):

https://www.usarmygermany.com/Sont.h...70th%20CSC.htm

The unidentified badge shown at the top of the page above the elephant appears identical to the one that I show other than the design at the top of the shield, three stars rather than "GERMAN".

This leads me to suspect that my badge may be that of a
Civilian Support Center (Engineer Construction) or Civilian Labor Group (CLG) (Engr Const) formation.
The badge is about 50 mm tall (I've forgotten the measurements).
I've tried emailing queries via email addresses given on the site but these were rejected.

Does anyone know what the "GERMAN" badge is please?

Only a guess but could it be the American version of the British M.S.O. ?

Yes, because of the similarities between the two shields I'm thinking along those lines but if it is, which unit amongst them is it.
Looks like an email I sent without images may have got through to the site, I may get a reply.

I had one quite a while ago and it was identified on the US Militaria Forum as Civilian Support Group Labor Service Germany.

These Labor Service patches are also found with other nationalities, such as Polish or Latvian.
