UNKNOWN LAPEL BADGE
Can anyone ID this type of bi-plane?

Possibly a Maurice Farnham I'd say very early, 1912-14. The sort of thing C C Lewis learnt to fly in. His book Sagittarius Rising is a great read and he was badged RFC rather than being seconded. Died aged 99. Long horn or short horn could be the model. Hope if not right I am helping find a path forward. Matti

Had another look and could even be an Avro 504 as some of the early models had skids and wheels but still going with the Short/Long Horn.

Matti,
Many thanks. It came in a lot of WW1 era badges and my plane spotting skills let me down. Alan |
