I think the sash has long gone now and all of the cadets compete for the single prize. RMAS and Cranwell had the first female sword winners around 1996.

I think you need to go back pre 1996. Best academic is the Queen's medal.

Default Sash of Merit

Winners of the sash were not allowed to keep it; they were given a very small brooch engraved on the reverse with their details. Male cadets were given and could keep a sword. As stated in a previous post the sash has been replaced with a sword for female cadets.
