Default Anodised RMP embellished?

I think someone has taken the gold paint to this one, I wonder any thought?

Isn't it the other way round ?? Taken SILVER paint to it As the RMP badge is GOLD A/A.

Jerry normally I would say you're correct but the badge is very light gold/chrome colour , think the darker gold is the addition.

Tony, I think you are right. I have looked through my RMP A/A badges and see I have at least 2 that are very light gold colour which could be mistaken as "silver" A/A. They are both JR GAUNT LONDON marked. One has the maker name on the back of the badge. Maybe I should get the gold paint out and …...

I'm with tonyb - a drop of nitromorz will bring order to chaos here. I suspect it may reveal a reasonably early RMP badge with a light gold anodising.
