Default help with this wing please

hi all,
any thoughts on this wing?
its in as new condition but has come from a deceased estate from a couple of brothers in the RFC/RAF
everyother item is period.
looking forward to hearing your thoughts

BC,

I have to say I’ve never seen anything quite like these before, without the backstory when I saw the obverse my first thoughts were reproduction.

The front looks odd to me but the backing appears vintage.
Probably genuine, maybe tailor embroidered?

thanks all
this was in an auction lot that i didnt end up winning.
the Chap and his brother were WW1 pilots. one brother died, shot down winning an MC. the other survived and went on the be an Officer in the Assam Valley LH. maybe this is post ww1 Indian made
so that all makes sense
