Default Guards Machine Gun Badge

I saw this and recall several posts about the subject of good and bad versions of this badge. It is not in my area of collecting, so I have no desire to get it, but if it's good I thought anyone who is seeking one might be interested.

I do not know how to tell a good badge from a good copy, so what do you all think of this one?

From the photographs in the link, I would suggest this particular original example has actually been worn.
