Default What period ?

Forgive the slight hijack of this this post but I wasn't sure where else to post it and I do need help with the identification of the uniforms worn. I purchased this original pen and ink drawing some 30 years ago at an antique fair - I just liked the subject matter and the quality of the drawing, it was clearly an illustration for a book but I had no idea who the artist was. I had it framed and there it has hung in my study ever since. Recently by accident I found out who the artist was. Henry Marriot Paget - a distinguished artist who also worked as a book illustrator as well as working for the London Illustrated News. So I'm now trying to track down a copy of the book that this may have come from - he worked with several authors and publishers - so I need some help narrowing down the subject matter. The uniforms look Napoleonic to me? - can anyone help tying it down any further? Tim

They are British line infantry of the Napoleonic period wearing the shako which came into use in 1812, also known as the "Waterloo" shako.
