Default Motto - Chad - Junk?

This came with a couple of other badges. As you can see it has a hole drilled in the top of the Scull and two very small rings on the reverse. So is it any good?

Very poor copy ...... somebody obviously shot it through the skull to put it out of its misery.

One I used to own - which I always thought was a good'un. Clearly it was an indiscriminate massacre!

Lugs chopped off, hole in skull - "mounted" on a board by a collector or museum (as the IWM used to do but hopefully no longer do).

Hi Guys

Just to clear the air a little, this is a copy of a cap Motto, poor thing, probably needs a Bex and a good lay down, a Chadd is an arm Motto and has different proportions, A cap motto is wider that it is high and a Chadd is taller than it is wide, it also has a different Bones structure and the Or GLORY scroll has Swallow tailed ends, not squared off ends.

Regards

Phil.

Thanks Griff. After sorting out reasonable postage I went for it. I had noticed the hobbed letters on other badges but until I came across mention in your threads it was not something that I had given any thought to. Regards, Paul.
