Greetings Martyn.

I don't know a great deal in relation to Officers' Glengarry badges and I am basing this assessment purely on those I have knowledge of and the one on the desk in front of me.

From the front it appears to be good, however, if you look at the buckle on the garter strap, bottom left, the quality is let down by what appears to be poor definition on both the buckle and seeding surrounding it.

Looking then at the remainder of the seeding on the strap, it again appears quite poor.

The reverse, as does the front, look ok at first glance, however, the lugs, I would have thought should be blacker, the fixings of the back plate to the rear appear big and clumsy and the two at the top left and top right, not seen that before.

I'm going to say that I think it is a fairly well made copy, but as always, I stand to be corrected.

Regards.

Brian
