Default Fattorini Buttons

In a recent Home Guard related thread I learned that there was more than one company bearing the name Fattorini (thank you Jon), I have found buttons from two such companies in my collection.

Red Cross marked "Thomas Fattorini LTD, Regent St, B'HAM".

KC GM General Service marked "Fattorini & Sons Ltd, Bradford".

Its hard to accurately date these but maybe WW1?

Has anyone seen any other buttons marked Fattorini?

Rob

I have a KC general service button: "Fattorini & Sons Ltd, Bradford"
and a brass "Fattorini, Bolton" button for Mount St. Mary's College C.C.F. (Roger Revell, British Institutions book, page 64-1)

Found this 17.2mm "Fattorini Bolton" marked button to add to my collection.

Described by the seller as Mount St Mary College OTC so I assume its the same as yours btns.

Fattorini established their premises in Regent Street, Birmingham in 1928 and so the Red Cross Button will date to post 1928. The General Service will be WW1 era. The Bradford stem of Fattorini I believe was 1908 to 1928 when they moved over to Birmingham. Fattorini Bolton would indicate prior to 1917.

Thank you Charlie

So the "Bolton" button is definitely OTC rather than CCF.
