Gurkha Signals Cap Badge or Buckle Badge?
I have this Gurkha Signals badge in chrome and, what looks like, gilt, with distinctive 'tombstone' lugs to rear. Approx 38mm tall. Can anyone tell me if this is exclusively a belt buckle badge, cap badge, both or neither (ie fake/copy)? If it's exclusively for the belt buckle, I shall be moving it on. Thanks, Mike

See Tim's (grey-green-acorn) album on belt buckles etc. 2nd page of his album.

I have this one as a belt plate badge in ‘new metal’ with two short flat lugs.
Similar to yours but back is different. Tim

There are some many variants of the Gurkha Signals its unreal. Could be British made or HK made . Genuine or a copy ,very hard to tell when the quality is ok.

Many thanks for replies! I have just found what appears to be the identical badge on the North East Medals site, but fitted with 'normal' lugs. This gives me some confidence that it's an original badge but custom made for belt buckle with tombstone lugs - also found custom made for cap fitted with 'normal' lugs. I'm inclined to go with that, in which case, I will put it up for sale. Thanks again, Mike.
