Scottish Cadets Badge Backing?
I recently acquired a nice Scottish Cadets badge, and am wondering if they wore any kind of tartan or other backing behind it.
It came with several new badges and I will be taking pictures shortly and adding them to my album. Thanks for any help with this! I believe I know the answer, but wanted to run it by you all as there are many here that know more than I'll ever know! Terry |

They had a black ribbon backing.

John,
How interesting. I wonder what the yellow designates. Usually when I see yellow in connection with Scottish military I think of the Gordon Highlanders, that being their facing color and also the stripe in their tartan. Thanks for the heads-up! The yellow could be an area colour . The Scottish div signs of a similar period were all pretty much alike but had different colours for each area.
