Default 6DG Pouch badge?

Hi All
I just found this large badge at a market, unfortunately with the fittings removed. It looks like a pouch or sabretache badge and the fittings seem to have been screw posts. I am not sure if it was originally a gilt finished badge which has faded a bit or if it was just polished. Looking at the back, I think it may have been gilt though.
Any info would be appreciated, thanks.
Cheers,
Alex

Default 6th Dragoon Guards

Hi Alex, Just going on the large size of the badge 93mm,

I think it's an Officer's undress Sabretache badge.

I have a 5th Royal Irish Lancers Officers undress Sabretache badge

in my collection which measures 115mm, and a 6th Inniskilling Dragoons one which measures 81mm.

please see link below to excellent reference website which shows pouch and Sabretache badges,

best regards John
