Cape Garrison Artillery shoulder titles
Hi All,
A pair of Cape Garrison Artillery shoulder titles for comment please. What vintage would they be? They have small nicks, any significance? Thanks, John |

Hi John, I would guess just post WW1. This title was worn for a long period, so this is only a guess on these badges. Regards Andrew

Hello,
Does anyone know how to distinguish a CGA shoulder title from Canadian to Cape? regards

Cannot lay my hands on mine at the moment but my recollection is that they are smaller than any Canadian ones that I have. Now that’s something else I have to dig out!! I have in the back of my mind that there is also one in white metal, Caithness Garrison Artillery ? Regards, D.J.

I also have a CGA title used by the Ceylon Garrison Artillery, so thats 3 uses now, Cape, Canada and Ceylon.
Luckily a lot of the Canadian ones are maker marked which makes them easier to ID but in theory couldnt all 3 have worn the same title and in different sizes in the same unit also. regards
