Many thanks for the ID. Unless anyone proves it's something different, I'll put it into my collection as 3 RTR.

Default RTR

Currently there are only 1st and 2nd RTR in existence. So if it is newish it will be one of either of them.

Wink RTR Patch

Sadly there is now only The Royal Tank Regiment after all the amalgamations.
I never wore a patch like that in The Third and it does look new, and it is also presented in the post upside down............"Through Mud, Blood to the Green Fields Beyond"

Gents, I have it as 1 RTR 2008 - 2012 (both a woven and embroidered example). The other is 2 RTR.

Thanks for the conmments, gentlemen. I shave taken Bess 55's answer as the most authorative, so will put it in as 1 RTR 2008-2012 unless anyone have a further opinion.
Thanks for your help.
