Default Opinions please on "Land Forces Adriatic" patch

...picked this up amongst some other bits as a job lot for £7.
Liked the fact that design has bled through and stitching to surround.
Can anyone confirm if this one is correct or a copy.
Thanks Steve

Hello Steve - It may have a chance. Here are a pair in an RSR grouping from a Rhodesian veteran, through Bosleys years ago, for comparison.
Yours look to be on more 'course material' in that ridges are more pronounced - and slight difference in colour - but that may be lighting or symptom of different ageing factors.

I add embroidered ones too - not the same grouping - purely for reference

The vendor (dhcomet45) has had some 'interesting' other printed items for sale over the years including SAS wings and cap badges, LRDG beret badges and the like so I would treat with caution regarding originality.

Best regards,
Andy

I got these from dhcomet. Undoubtedly replica, neither was sold as original.

Also saw a recent offering of LRDG pay book with printed wings and patch, the latter identical to my own. Again, openly sold as replicas / props.
