Para Wings On Chevrons
Exactly when did the Parachute Regiment stop wearing para wings on NCO chevrons?

Very difficult to be exact on this matter.
ACI 204 on 12 Feb 1941 prescribed the badge to be worn on the right upper arm, midway between the elbow and the point of the shoulder. This created an issue when rank chevrons were also worn (see https://www.britishbadgeforum.com/fo...ad.php?t=80666). Later, ACI 1274 dated 17 Jun 1942 modified the position of the badge to be worn 2 inches from the point of the right shoulder.
