Default British made FINNISH badge any ideas ?

Hi,
Just after confirmation .....
....within a medal group to a Brit who served in Finland during Winter War Period a large military silver badge of Finnish Rose with "IN" to centre Birmingham maker marked ?
any ideas of regiment or is it a recognised badge for the small group of British Volunteers during the Winter War Period ??

No , it s correct , as two Birmingham made buttons both state "IN" and are Finnish . He served in the RAF with about 60 odd volunteers.

The point I am trying to make is that if nobody knows what it is, then searching for an answer is made a lot easier if we know whether its IN or NI.

Interesting picturess ,I blew up the images,most interesting . The badges worn are obvious silver and the size and dimensions match the badge . Just need a close up photo...if only 60 odd went I can see this being hard to obtain.
