This looks very similar to 'plate 834' in Collecting Metal Shoulder Titles (R A Westlake). I recently accquired 3 pairs and one single, all with backing plates. They are all in pristine condition.

I would welcome fellow forum members opinions please

John

Default Titles

John, I think these are either Police, Fire Brigade or Ambulance.

I suspect these could be St John's Ambulance Brigade. I have something similar for NORTHANTS which I saw today in a SJAB group. That said, I am aware of yeomanry titles being produced in white metal- ask orosot about his Herts Yeomanry specimens.

Stephen.
