Default 103rd CEF Badge Sweetheart heart or Regimental Assoc

Hi
Can anyone help advise whether this badge is a sweetheart badge or a Regimental Association badge and roughly what date it relates to as it has CEF on it would hat date it to the WW1 period.

Thanks

Rob

Hello Rob, The badge is a sweetheart pin, a bit scarcer in that it is made in sterling. It is First World War period.

Hi Bill
Thanks for confirming WW1 and a sweetheart badge. I have no idea of value for Canadian badges could I ask your advice as to what sort of value it has especially with it being silver.

Your help would be very welcome.

Thanks

Rob

Values are always difficult, as I find there is quite a difference between Britain and Canada. It is likely in the $35 - $50 range for a sterling example.

Hi Bill
Thanks for your help re valuation, I just have no idea about rarity or value of Canadian badges. I found this one in a box of bits at a car boot for the grand sum of £1.50 so well pleased with your valuation.

Thanks again

Rob
