Hi Destro
I doubt if this is for a particular ship, I think it's just a 'generic' sweetheart brooch.
Cheers,
Alex

There must have been an "HMS ARROW" ?? TYPE 21 FRIGATE was in the Falkland war so there must have been earlier ships with that name

Actually there have been several HMS ARROW - the first of the name being a Sloop of 1796 & the last a Frigate Type 21 built by Yarrow & comm'd Feb 1974, then transferred to Pakistani Navy Mar '94.

Perhaps this is the Arrow represented by that pin,

Bryan

That seems rather unlikely, with the KC on the sweetheart.

The most likely candidate would probably be the A Class destroyer 'Arrow' of 1929 and lost in 1944. The ship's badge, however, consisted of two crossed arrows which would have been ideal to have been copied as a Sweetheart brooch with the 'cap badge' in the centre.
I certainly feel its a generic sweetheart brooch.
