Parachutist Wings - Instructor ?

The badge illustrated below, is white metal, and depicts a parachutist in harness & parachute superimposed against outstretched wings.

The reverse of the badge has 2 x hinges on the extreme tips of the wings, presumably for afixing to uniform

Question: Is this a formal British Army Parachute Instructors badge, and if so where on the uniform was it worn, and in what period?

This badge, and several others in cloth (which latter I can identify), came from the estate of a former qualified Army Parachute Jump Instructor, hence my assumption that the badge is some sort of instructors inisgnia

Any positive identification(s) will be appreciated.

Thanks for your reply - and yes the badge I illustrated appears to be exactly the same as your Soviet badge.

Now that's a surprise - not least as the person who had acquired this badge was a WW2 veteran and 'Cold War' warrior, and the last thing I would have expected to find amongst his badges would be a Soviet piece of insignia. I can only assume it was a private purchase, rather then a presentation piece.
