A badge from the Danbury Mint set made by FIRMIN and marketed for collectors. Although most were anodised aluminium some were in metals like this QDG example in nickel/chrome. Not ‘Soldier proof’ if worn as the blades break easily. Designed to be fixed on black panels and held in a frame.

Hi Tim, yes that's the badge, thank you very much. For Firmin one would expect better quality, there is a lump next to the right hand crown on both badges, so not a one off, thanks again and best wishes Mike
