Hello! I have this KOSB battledress

Outside you can see the buttonholes..

But inside you can't see the first nor the second buttonholes! Do you know why???

The blouse has been modified to have an open collar with lapels. This was sometimes done privately, or within a unit, I'm not sure if blouses were officially modified in this way rather than manufactured.

Oh! I see!...officers didn't like closed blouses! The most images I find shows officers with open blouses and a tie!

Not just officers (I hadn't noticed the medal ribbons being in the wrong order).

After 44 other ranks were allowed to wear open collars with a tie, as seen in the post war versions

No, the WWI ribbons are following the WWII ones. Would expect a WWII War Medal ribbon too.

As has already been stated, the medal ribbons are all wrong except for the MM. The bottom row should be below the MM and the centre row at the bottom. The ribbon of the 1939-1945 Star is the wrong way round and the ribbon of the British War Medal 1939-1945 is missing. It's enough to give a Company Sergeant Major an attack of the Vapours. Whoever made that lot up didn't have a clue by the look of it.

You could just put them in the right order and add the missing ribbon.
