Default Another fine day at the Office!

Good evening.

Not really my thing(I've already got one), but given it's not WWII, and clearly the early '04-'10 pattren, with long slider (possibly pagri slider) and clearly an original, I would suggest someone actually did reasonably well.

But hey, what do I know? The hallmarked version is even rarer, that's what I know.

Enjoy.

Phil,
Not WW2 as far as I know! The four honours was 1903-10 unless I'm mistaken which won't be the first time

Rather more than four battle honours as you would expect, it's the one that is missing that makes the difference here, notwithstanding, I've seen better examples and would not rush to buy this one.

As Phil said, honours on wreath x 4

LOL really? there are just three on my examples, Peninsula is above the wreath, below the cross and Waterloo in on the tablet below the crown.

Phil & Gerard,
I'm with you both but it's "4" Honour Scrolls, but only "3" Honours, Sevastopol being split over the upper and lower left scrolls as viewed! Pedantic I know
Still a nice badge and obtained for a reasonable price!

Andy

Thanks Andy,
I think everyone knows what "we" ment I think if you asked for a three honour RB badge we would all be thinking there was a new undiscovered badge !!!

I think that is a very important point, lugged examples will attract more attention, most people would think twice upon seeing an example, even if they did not know about the missing honour.
It is just the same with the KRRC, about twenty five years ago, I bought a superb example at Stockport town hall, from a very well known badge dealer for £5, he should really have known better, but, he had just not bothered to look at it properly, despite this particular piece being on lugs.

Hi Frank. Yeah, Andy told some time ago it was badge in excess of a 100. I offered it on here for I think 85, but no takers.....

I managed to convert the results into the 2nd battalion London Scottish.

Simon.
