Found this :

0422. Royal Cyphers
a. Royal Marines ADC to the Queen, Equerries and Extra Equerries to the Queen are to wear the royal cypher and crown, in one piece, below their badges or rank;letters ‘RM’ are not worn.

b. The full sized badge (35 x 35 mm), in either dull silver metal or gilt metal, is worn as follows:
(1) Dull silver. On full dress tunic, blue serge tunic, Athol grey greatcoat, blue greatcoat, scarlet mess jacket and white mess jacket.
(2) Gilt metal. On lovat tunic, stone jacket and stone shirt.

EDIT : Only the Personal aide-de-camp wears the cypher.

The emblem of the office is the royal cypher and crown (of the monarch who appointed the officer), which is worn on the uniform shoulder straps; and No. 1 gold aiguillettes, which are worn on the right shoulder. (The aiguillettes of Personal Aides-de-Camp are distinguished from those of other Aides-de-Camp by the addition of the royal cypher and crown to each tag).

10.4. The following appointments are entitled to wear the Royal Cypher and Crown below badges of rank for the duration of their appointment:

a. ADCs General to The Sovereign
b. ADCs to the Sovereign
c. Equerry and Extra Equerries to The Sovereign
d. Honorary Chaplains, Physicians, Surgeons, Dental Surgeons, and Nursing Sisters to The Sovereign
e. Queen’s Gurkha Orderly Officers Orderly officers
f. Defence Services Secretary
g. Major General Commanding the Household Division
h. Former ADCs and Honorary ADCs to the Sovereign appointed before 1988
