Minefield marker
Hi All
Is this little pennant a minefield marker? It looks like one I saw online somewhere which was listed for quite a hefty price and described as a German item. Is there any way of telling where it came from or are these just generic? I think it was once yellow but very faded now. It is about 10cm across the top and will soon be decorating the bar in my man-cave. Thanks, cheers, Alex Last edited by Alex Rice; 20-03-21 at 09:23 AM. Reason: Spelling. |

I have a few of these, WWII German but I have read that they were also post war East German although I don't know if they continued in production post war or if "old stock" merely continued in use.

A few days ago I was thinking of asking what your bar looked like now (being in the process of setting up a beer shed myself at the moment having decided that the current garage work bench / bar set up was an A & E trip waiting to happen).
You have the old camo net thing going, helmets, guns and bayonets and the like? |

gas warning flag, WWII period, often wrongly attributed as mine marker

Sorry to disappoint but my bar isn't laid out like a bunker , it is however still a work in progress... Cheers, Alex |
