Hi all ,

19th Hussars silver/ silver plate with lugs , I’ve been told it’s an pagri badge ???

G'day Hussar.

My understanding is that the Puggeri badge faces to our left as we look at it as does the cap badge, and has lugs like the hat badge, where as the NCO's Arm badge faces to our right and has small holes to allow it to be sewn to the sleeve of the uniform.

Your badge appears to be a wm. Foreign Service Helmet badge as worn c.1920. L&D 38.2 - 19H page 122

I can find no reference to holes being in 19H Arm Badges for sewing on to Uniform. Please could you give me your source/reference for this comment?

Hi Rob

Go back to Alans post of today and click on the link and go to the 2nd last post by Griff dated 6.12.15 and that badge is the same as my one with holes for sewing to the pugri.
